Simon Warren is a location photographer based in Walthamstow who spends his time behind the camera photographing architecture, interiors, residential, people and music. After using non-flexible car clubs for work but finding it inconvenient returning the car to its assigned parking bay each time, Simon discovered DriveNow. Now he uses a DriveNow vehicle every day for work and integrates public transport in when he needs to. "I actually have my own car but it’s a classic so my main mode of transport for my residential property photography is DriveNow. I drive between locations that I’m photographing (usually shooting 2-3 properties per day) so I’ll pick up a DriveNow, drive to the first location and park the car while I’m working. Then I’ll either take the same car or another one nearby to the next location. It’s great for getting to hard places."
"I also occasionally use DriveNow at the weekend. If I’m in the city, I’ll take a bus or tube to a nearby car in the business area and then drive the rest of the way home.
My favourite DriveNow vehicle is the convertible MINI in the summer and the BMW 1 series because it has lots of leg room. I always book the Collision waiver because there are so many dangerous drivers in London and it’s only £1 so worth it.
In Walthamstow, there are always cars handy for me, I don’t have to wait for a taxi and driving myself means I’m in control the whole way. DriveNow has a great app, good pricing and I’m always recommending it to friends.”
