Rex Siney is the Sales Director and founder of Brickworks, an ethical estate agency, which is adopting a different approach to buying and selling houses – putting customers rather than sales targets first. Like DriveNow, one of Brickworks’ aims is to disrupt the industry they operate in and offer their customers a different way of doing things. As a frequent user of DriveNow, we caught up with him to find out why he loves DriveNow. “DriveNow helps me in so many ways. I really like the concept and the company. The beauty of being able to pick the car up from outside your house, and drop it off whenever you go, is a genius idea. And not having to worry about petrol or insurance is a huge bonus."
Car sharing is very much part of my mix of ways to get around. I cycle a lot and will often ride to meetings, but sometimes it’s not practical. If it’s a hot day for example, I don’t want to arrive and be sweaty in a meeting – especially when I’m seeing new clients who are considering selling their house, which is a huge decision for anyone.
My team use DriveNow as well, we have a business account which they use when going to valuations or viewings. As the business grows I don’t expect that we will buy company cars, everyone will just use our DriveNow business account. On a personal basis, if we’re going shopping and have lots of bags, we’ll use it then as well – it’s just so convenient and easy.
I’d definitely recommend DriveNow. It’s a company that is offering a forward-thinking approach to urban transportation, and it does it brilliantly.
