Congestion Charge Zone The fee for entering the congestion charge zone with a petrol or diesel car is now £5 instead of £11.50.
As you know, driving out of the Congestion Charge Zone is free at all times regardless of which DriveNow car you use. As our membership grows and our cars are used more we’ve decided to share the cost of driving into the Congestion Charge Zone during the operational hours (Mon-Fri, 7.00-18.00).
We believe that car sharing has a huge role to play in contributing to improved air quality in cities as well as reducing congestion. That’s why we have 50 all-electric BMW i3 in our London fleet, the largest available in the UK, offering customers a car which has no exhaust emissions and is exempt from the congestion charge at all times. To find a BMW i3 easily, just use the car filter in the DriveNow app. Hourly Cap Our hourly cap has been removed. We know from speaking to our customers that the main ways you use DriveNow are: - For short pay-per-minute trips, which are generally under an hour
- For longer trips using our hourly packages. We want to make our prices as simple as possible for customers so are making these changes to reflect how you use DriveNow.
If you use DriveNow regularly, you can save money with our savings packages – sign up for a fixed amount of minutes per month and get a lower price per minute rate. Find out more.
Also if you’re working late or have an early meeting why not use our ‘Overnight Special’? Park for free Monday to Friday between 0:00am and 6:00am. Drive home late, put the car in park mode and you have a car guaranteed for you in the morning. You won’t pay anything until 6:00am.
You can drive our cars with a low charge or fuel level at a discounted price. Drive'n Save cars can be driven for between 25-29p/minute. Find a Drive'n Save car easily by using the car filter in the DriveNow app.
